5/28 - Japan wins Riyo Mori, a professional ballet dancer, won the Miss Universe crown at the annual event held at the National Auditorium in Mexico City.The 1st runner-up was Brazil's Natalia Guimaraes, 2nd runner-up was Venezuela's Ly Jonaitis, 3rd runner-up was Korea's Honey Lee and the 4th Runner-up was USA's Rachel Smith
